Rauch

Rauch wardrobes are made entirely in Germany. The company is based in Freudenberg am Main, Baden-Württemberg, where it has been manufacturing furniture since it was founded in 1897. Every stage — from raw material sourcing and design to production and quality control — takes place in Germany. Rauch holds the official Made in Germany certification, and 80% of its production material suppliers are also based in Germany.

Yes — Rauch is one of the most respected bedroom furniture manufacturers in Germany, with 125 years of experience and multi-certified production standards. Their ORANGE, ORANGE+ and BLACK ranges are backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty, which is a strong indicator of long-term confidence in build quality. Rauch also holds ISO 50001 energy management certification and has won the German Sustainability Award for its responsible manufacturing practices.

Rauch offers three product tiers. rauch BLUE is the entry-level range — great quality German-made wardrobes at an accessible price point, with a solid choice of sizes and finishes. rauch ORANGE and ORANGE+ are the mid-to-premium ranges, offering a wider selection of colours, materials and interior configurations, along with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty. rauch BLACK is the premium tier, featuring high-specification materials and bold, contemporary design — also covered by the 10-year warranty.

Yes — rauch ORANGE, ORANGE+ and BLACK wardrobes carry a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is provided directly by Rauch Möbelwerke GmbH and is valid across the EU, Great Britain and Switzerland. It is in addition to — not a replacement for — your statutory warranty rights against the retailer.

Yes. Rauch uses timber exclusively from sustainably managed native German forests and holds multi-certification for sustainable production. The company recycles production offcuts for energy generation, collects around 80 tonnes of waste wood annually for recycling, and runs a DIN ISO 50001 certified energy management system to continuously reduce its energy use. Rauch has won the German Sustainability Award — Germany’s most prestigious environmental business prize — for achieving measurable sustainability goals.
