Sliding Door Wardrobe UK was founded in 2012 in a small garage on Old Kent Road, London. We started by selling auction-sourced furniture on eBay — learning quickly what buyers actually care about: quality, transparency and reliable service.
In our early years we worked with a number of different suppliers — testing quality, reliability and service at every turn. Over time we found the right partners: Dako for fast UK-stocked delivery, and Wiemann and Rauch for premium made-to-order German craftsmanship. Today those three brands represent everything we sell.
We made a deliberate decision early on: rather than invest in a London showroom, we invested in the digital experience instead. Three years of work produced a library of over 5,000 curated product images covering every finish, size and configuration we sell.
