Wiemann wardrobes are made entirely in Germany, at the company's headquarters in Georgsmarienhütte in Lower Saxony. The factory has operated from this site since 1900. Every stage — design, component production, assembly and quality testing — takes place in Germany. Wiemann carries the official "Made in Germany" certification, which requires that design, assembly and quality control are all carried out on German soil.

Wiemann is additionally climate neutral, certified under the German DGM climate pact at its highest level.

Sliding wardrobes (like the Berlin, Glasgow and Miami Plus collections) have doors that slide left and right on a track — only half the wardrobe is accessible at one time, but no floor space in front is needed to open them. Bi-folding wardrobes (like the Kansas and Serena Plus) use doors that fold in pairs — they reveal the full interior width and need slightly less swing clearance than traditional hinged doors. Both types are available with glass, mirror and oak finishes.
