Rauch Skat — Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before buying a Skat Shine wardrobe in the UK
What is the Rauch Skat Shine collection?
Skat Shine is a hinged-door wardrobe from Rauch's premium rauch ORANGE+ range, with a transparent grey glass centre door and long handles finished in the carcase colour. It's made to order in Germany with a 10-year manufacturer's warranty.
What heights does the Skat wardrobe come in?
Skat is available at two heights — 223cm or 235cm — the only collection in our Rauch range offered at two heights, useful if you have a taller room and want the wardrobe to reach further up the wall.
What sizes does the Skat wardrobe come in?
Skat comes in four widths: 151cm (3-door), 201cm (4-door), 251cm (5-door) and 301cm (6-door), each available at 223cm or 235cm high, and 60cm deep.
Does the Skat wardrobe include drawers?
No — Skat wardrobes have hanging and shelving space only, with no built-in drawers. Matching freestanding chests of drawers are available separately in the same finish, if you'd like drawer storage alongside it.
What colours and finishes are available?
The carcase comes in graphite, silk grey or white, paired with a transparent grey glass centre-door panel. Skat doesn't offer a mirror front.
Is the passepartout frame included?
Skat doesn't offer a passepartout frame at all — unlike some other Rauch collections. A decorative side strip is available as an optional extra instead, to finish the outer edges of the wardrobe.
Is assembly included with a Skat wardrobe?
Yes — every Skat wardrobe we sell includes free professional assembly as standard. Our team delivers your wardrobe and builds it in your room, so there's no flat-pack assembly for you to do.
How long does delivery take for a Skat wardrobe?
Skat wardrobes are made to order in Germany, so delivery and assembly typically takes 5–7 weeks from the date of order, with slightly longer lead times over the factory's Christmas and summer shutdowns. See our delivery page for full details.
