How the Self-Opening Doors Work
Pull the handle slightly and the bi-fold door glides open automatically, revealing the full wardrobe interior – no need to pull it all the way yourself. The video below shows the self-opening mechanism in action.
The Wiemann Kansas 250cm wardrobe is a 6 doors self-opening bi-fold wardrobe with 6 soft-close drawers built into the base – pull a handle slightly and the door glides open on its own, revealing the full interior. Fronts come in coloured glass, a finish matching the carcase, with chrome bar handles, and every hinged door closes on cushioned hinges as standard. Built in Germany with a 2-year manufacturer’s guarantee.
Interior layout
Behind the 6 doors sit 4 bays (47.5/72.3/72.3/47.5cm), each fitted with 2 adjustable shelves and a hanging rail – 8 shelves and 4 rails in total across the wardrobe. The base also holds 6 soft-close drawers, positioned outside the wardrobe body on smooth metal runners. Shelves and rails can be rearranged within each bay to suit what you’re storing.
Design and finishes
Carcases come in champagne, havana or white. Doors can be specified in matching coloured glass, a full crystal mirror (on select widths), or a finish matching the carcase, with a mirror insert in the middle of the run on select finishes. Handles are metal chrome bar handles – pull one slightly and the bi-fold door glides open on its own. Every hinged door in this collection closes on cushioned hinges as standard, not as an optional extra.
